I’ve always got a lot of things going on.
Yesterday I was telling Jill about someone I was meeting with and how I initially met them.
She stopped me mid-sentence and said, “I can’t keep track of your life anymore.”
As I reflect on the last 24 hours I realize, that’s what a day feels like for me when I don’t use my Hero On A Mission (HOAM) Life Plan and Daily Planner.
Exhibit A: the last 24 hours.
Monday morning I didn’t make the time to fill out a HOAM Daily Planner Sheet.
But several things were screaming for my attention.
Because I didn’t prioritize all those requests for my time and attention with my daily planner, the task that yelled loudest at any moment won.
Unfortunately, those “winners” for my attention, weren’t always the most important investments of my finite amount of time.
Nothing bad happened. But some of the most important things were left undone.
