Day 46: How to Be Intentional

by Feb 15, 2021HOAM Insights, Productivity, What Is A HOAM?0 comments

Today I had the pleasure of meeting someone I’d never met, but who shares so much in common with me.

We know several people in common.

He lived the last 10 years in Minot, ND which is 8 miles from where I grew up.

I’ve lived the last 11 years in Fargo, ND which is exactly where he and his wife grew up.

Most importantly we share the same passion about what’s most important in life.

He and I met at a coffee shop in downtown Fargo.

As a Hero On A Mission (HOAM) I’d crafted a goal to find new audiences to speak to.

Last week I had a Zoom meeting with a podcast host to see if I might be a good fit as a future guest. (I am!)

We had a great “zoomersation”, and he ended it by telling me he thought I needed to meet a guy.

He was right!

The podcast zoomversation facilitated an email introduction. Sparking the beginning of a new friendship.

I love how God works with people who are moving in an intentional direction.

Being a HOAM is like that.

  • You know where you want to go.
  • You set goals to help you get there.
  • You review your Life Plan and Goals almost every day.
  • That review helps you plan your day’s movement.
  • You are intentional.
  • You are in motion.

God works with that.

Good things happen.
