The Bible Book Club I got to be a part of last night took my breath away.
- A mother shared what’s helped her get through life’s hardest times
- Her adult daughter shed tears listening to her mother’s testimony
- An immigrant intently looked at life’s deep issues in a way he’d never done before
- A tremendous young leader was thrilled to receive knowledge she had been craving–and she felt the joy of seeing tangible results springing from her efforts to include others on her journey
Here’s what’s really cool: I was in Fargo, they were all in Pennsylvania!
Yep, it all happened on Zoom.
I was so thankful to be a part of this group last night.
As I reflected on how it all fits into my life. I saw again the power of being a Hero On A Mission (HOAM).
My HOAM Life Plan includes Vision Statements.
In my 1-Year Vision Statement, I stated I wanted to make a meaningful contribution to a group of crazies I love called the Creo Collective.
Starting a Creo Bible Book Club was a Milestone in this written Goal.
I wondered if anyone would even show up for this book club.
But because of that tremendous young leader’s efforts, just the right number of people did show up.
Ten people reading the same book and discussing it together.
The early results are so encouraging.
I can’t wait to see how it continues to play out!
